This vertical canvas captures a quiet moment where the ocean meets a field of roses, creating a striking contrast between the soft blues of the water and the warm orange and red tones of the flowers. The sky glows with a gentle peachy haze, suggesting either dawn or dusk, while the thick, impasto brushstrokes give the petals and waves a real sense of physical presence. It is a piece that feels both abstract and deeply representational. The artist has used heavy texture to build up the rose bushes, making them pop off the canvas in a way that adds depth to the room. You can see the individual dabs of paint that form the leaves and blooms, which brings a tactile quality to the work. The sea is rendered with horizontal strokes that guide your eye toward the horizon line, balancing the chaotic energy of the flowers with the calm rhythm of the waves. Because of its tall format, this painting works beautifully in spaces with high ceilings or narrow walls, like a hallway or next to a staircase. It pairs naturally with modern interiors, adding a splash of organic color without overwhelming the furniture. I would place it near a window to let the natural light catch the texture of the paint, or hang it above a console table to anchor the space.
