honestly, there is a quiet, rhythmic pulse to this three-panel canvas set. Rendered in cool shades of cerulean, slate, and charcoal against a stark white background, the artwork captures a misty mountain range dissolving into what looks like a restless sea. The vertical orientation of each panel draws the eye upward, creating a sense of vastness and atmospheric depth that feels almost meditative. It’s less about depicting a specific place and more about evoking the feeling of cold, crisp air and solitude. The artist has used a thick impasto technique, building up layers of paint to create a tangible, three-dimensional texture. You can see the heavy strokes and ridges where the blue pigment meets the black, giving the piece a raw, tactile quality. This modern abstract interpretation relies on negative space—the generous amounts of white—to let the composition breathe, making it feel light despite the heavy application of paint. This triptych pairs beautifully with the soft blues of velvet furniture or acts as a striking anchor in a monochrome room. It works exceptionally well as a focal point behind a sofa or dining table, bringing a serene, coastal energy to any interior without overwhelming the senses.
